About Micah

Micah Cash has been partnering with nonprofit organizations to grow their contributed revenue and build strategic and stable organizations since 2021. He has worked with organizations throughout the nonprofit sector, including social services, art museums and visual arts groups, theaters, performing arts ensembles, and history and folklife organizations. In addition to his work in the nonprofit industry, he has taught at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the University of Connecticut, and Wingate University.

He applies his classroom experience to fundraising best practices to help clients grow their donor base and achieve immediate results. He combines the mentorship and accessibility of a professor with the strategic and data-driven analysis of a fundraising professional.

Micah is also a critically acclaimed and internationally recognized visual artist. He has published two monographs and exhibits widely. He has served on the national board of the Society for Photographic Education, volunteers with his local parks and recreation department, and is a co-director of the Queen City Zine Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Micah received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and his bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Art History from the University of South Carolina.
